Usage

Sisal is a natural, slightly abrasive raw material. In the form of fabrics or cords, it has proven to be particularly resistant. In addition to being used in polishing discs, our high-quality sisal cord can be used by the meter in a variety of other applications, e.g. B. for the cover of scratching post parts or for decorative items.

Please select the required quantity in the configurator, the prices are per running meter. Sisal darkens a little over time, minor material or color defects cannot be ruled out due to the special material properties and processing form.

Application

Anwendungstipp Katzen-Kratzbaum

Befestigen Sie die Sisal-Kordeln mit Hilfe eines lösungsmittelfreien Holzleims am Stamm des Kratzbaumes. Am besten tragen Sie nur wenig Leim in Streifen auf, um das Seil später wieder leichter zu entfernen und den Stamm frisch bewickeln zu können. Wickeln Sie die Sisal Kordel um den Stamm, ohne die Kordel dabei aufzudrehen. Die Kordel möglichst straff wickeln und immer wieder gut zusammenschieben bzw. klopfen, damit keine Lücken entstehen. Die Kordelenden gut, ggf. mit Heftklammern fixieren. Bitte beachten Sie unbedingt, die Heftklammern nach dem Abtrocknen wieder sorgfältig zu entfernen (Verletzungsgefahr!).

Für einen runden Stamm mit ca. 10 cm Durchmesser und 1 m Länge benötigen Sie ca. 70 - 75 m Kordel.
