Usage

Sisal is a natural, slightly abrasive raw material. In the form of fabrics or cords, it has proven to be particularly resistant. In addition to being used in polishing discs, our high-quality sisal fabric can be used by the meter in a variety of other applications, e.g. For the cover of cat scratching post parts, as decorative material or as a background in photo studios.

The length of the 1.60 m wide strips made of non-oiled and particularly long-fiber goods can be freely selected. Sisal darkens a little over time. Smaller weaving or color errors cannot be ruled out due to the special material properties and processing method.

Application

Application tip: cat scratching post

Glue the desired surface with the sisal fabric using a solvent-free wood glue. It is best to apply the glue with a brush, not too thickly. After a short drying time, cover the surfaces with the sisal fabric. You can prevent fraying at the cut edges by folding over the edges. Press the sisal covering e.g. B. by weighing down the surfaces. You can also fix the fabric with staples, but you should remove them carefully after drying (risk of injury!).
