This new type of EICKELIT corrugated twin-wheel is used in particular for edge processing in industrial furniture production lines, where they deliver gentle cleaning and brilliant polishing results.

Compared to commonly used tools in furniture edge processing, EICKELIT corrugated twin-wheels provide an excellent cooling effect for increased industrial throughputs. Furthermore, the special construction of our corrugated twin-wheels allow very even counter pressures. Moreover, the particularly dense premium fabric N18 effectively absorbs cleaning agents. And last but not least, the extra long service life of EICKELIT corrugated twin-discs allow significant process cost improvements.

With a big variety of possible dimensions and materials, EICKELIT twin-wheels are commonly used on all standard industrial edge processing machines such as Homag, Brand, HolzHer etc. If you need special dimensions, constructions or materials, we will be happy to manufacture them according to customer specifications.

Raw Cotton Fabric N18

N18 is a medium-strength raw cotton plain weave fabric with a specific weight of approx. 210 g / m². Buffing tools made of N18 are used in particular for the effective buffing of non-ferrous metals.

Areas of Application

  • Manual cut-buffing of stainless steel and aluminum surfaces
  • Buffing of mineral surfaces (marble, granite etc.)
  • Manual and automated high-gloss finish of painted surfaces in the furniture and interior trim industry
  • Machine edge processing in the furniture industry

Trimming Cotton Buffing Wheels

  • Careful preparation of the buffing / polishing tool is a prerequisite for an optimal surface result. Please follow our recommendations for trimming cotton buffing wheels
  • Used buffing discs should also be dressed again on a regular basis. This is especially true if residues of polishing paste have solidified on the working surface or the buffing wheels are heavily contaminated with material abrasion
