Optimally prepared polishing discs are the prerequisite for high-quality high gloss. The EICKELIT Surface Roughener (ESR) allows quick and gentle preparation of an optimal polishing surface on cotton polishing discs. More than 400 razor-sharp barbs gently untangle the fabric yarn with little dust, thus creating a fine and very dense microfiber velor. The ESR is an indispensable aid for polishing professionals, especially when it comes to fine polishing with pre-roughened molten fabric.

The stable and ergonomic design of the ESR ensures fast, safe and reproducible work. The brush mat can be easily exchanged in just a few simple steps. Please only use our original EICKELIT replacement brush mats, which are also available here in the EICKELIT professional webshop.

When handling the ESR, please be sure to observe our application instructions for safe working.

Trimming Cotton Buffing Wheels

  • Careful preparation of the buffing / polishing tool is a prerequisite for an optimal surface result. Please follow our recommendations for trimming cotton buffing wheels
  • Used buffing discs should also be dressed again on a regular basis. This is especially true if residues of polishing paste have solidified on the working surface or the buffing wheels are heavily contaminated with material abrasion
