Universal polishing set for drills | 80mm

This universal polishing set is suitable for high-gloss polishing of metal or plastic components that are difficult to access. With this polishing set you can quickly achieve a clear high gloss on carefully pre-polished surfaces with a drill.

Product features

• Shaft tool full round FM230, 80 x 6 mm
• V_max = 30 m/s, U_max = 7,200 rpm
• Universal EICKELIT high-gloss polishing paste "Low Cut" (approx. 0.2 kg)

Application

• Wear protective equipment and observe safety regulations!
• First roughen the polishing wheel with a suitable dressing tool
• Wet the rotating tool with the polishing paste
• Polish the evenly pre-polished and clean surface quickly in cross-coats, depending on the material, at approx. 15-30 m/s (3,600 - 7,200 rpm) to a high gloss
• Measure the pressure carefully! If the contact pressure is too high and/or the speed is too low, this can lead to an unsteady surface due to overheating of the workpiece
• After polishing, degrease the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and, if necessary, a suitable cleaning agent
