Universal polishing set for drills | 150mm

This standard polishing set allows you to achieve a high-quality shine on hard-to-reach parts of different materials. The polishing set is suitable for smaller polishing projects with the drill on well-prepared surfaces. This polishing set is part of the basic equipment in every well-stocked workshop.

• Universal EIKELIT high-gloss polishing paste "Low Cut" (approx. 0.2 kg)

Application

• Wear protective equipment and observe safety regulations!
• First roughen the polishing wheel with a suitable dressing tool
• Wet the rotating tool with the polishing paste
• Polish the evenly pre-polished and clean surface quickly in cross-coats, depending on the material, at approx. 15-30 m/s (1,900 - 3,800 rpm) to a high gloss
• Measure the pressure carefully! If the contact pressure is too high and/or the speed is too low, this can lead to an unsteady surface due to overheating of the workpiece
• After polishing, degrease the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and, if necessary, a suitable cleaning agent
