COTTON QUALITY

For our professional polishing discs, we only use Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics made from raw cotton from controlled cultivation areas. All of the plain weave cotton cretonnes we use are 100% free of synthetic fibres. For this reason, our polishing discs wear out evenly and are particularly dust-free.

MOLTON FM209

FM209 is a type of cretonne made from raw cotton that has been carefully brushed to create a delicate microfiber velor texture. This process involves roughening the fabric structure of heavy nettle, which weakens it and makes it more flexible. Additionally, any remaining abrasive impurities are removed through napping during this procedure.

With an approximate weight of 230 g/m², FM209 is ideal for use in super-finish polishing discs designed specifically for high-gloss polishing on non-ferrous metals, paintwork and plastics. Its softness and flexibility make it perfect for achieving perfect super-finishes without causing damage or scratches to surfaces being polished.
