REX corrugated buffing wheels consist of up to 40 plies of fabric. Due to a manifold of wavy cotton layers, REX buffing wheels work with particularly solid counter pressure. At the same time, the fan-like structure ensures an excellent cooling effect due to intense air streams and thus enables high productivity at high performance levels. REX corrugated buffing wheels can be used on the manual polishing stand or as buffing rolls in automated polishing machinery for large surfaces.
Up to 40 plies of corrugated raw cotton fabrics with 45° biased weave
Firm stand providig high counter pressure for effective cut- and fine-buffing
Fan-shaped construction delivers intensely cooling airflows for best productivity at high performance levels
For finish-buffing of particularly sensitive high-gloss surfaces, REX with flannel trimming is manufactured 100% seams-free
Calibrated for low-vibration concentricity
Configurable Diameters 125 - 500 mm
Configurable bore holes 10 - 60 mm
Optionally roughened ready for use
Raw Cotton Fabric N16
N16 is a light raw cotton plain weave fabric with a specific weight of approx. 190 g / m². Depending on the construction of the buffing tool, N16 is particularly suitable for buffin of non-ferrous metals, plastics and paints.
* Observe safety regulations for the minimum diameter of drive shafts!
We manufacture your desired bore individually for you. We cover every known bore diameter for industrial polishing machines *
If you need other bore diameters or special adapters (e.g. for hexagonal shafts, with keyways, etc.), we will be happy to manufacture them on request **
* Polishing discs drilled individually at the customer's request are excluded from exchange or return in accordance with our Terms of Cancellation.

Trimming Cotton Buffing Wheels
Careful preparation of the buffing / polishing tool is a prerequisite for an optimal surface result. Please follow our recommendations for trimming cotton buffing wheels
Used buffing discs should also be dressed again on a regular basis. This is especially true if residues of polishing paste have solidified on the working surface or the buffing wheels are heavily contaminated with material abrasion
