KONSTANT 4-4 polishing rings made of strong N2550 cotton fabric are primarily used for the preliminary and main polishing of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. With the Z-folded layers arranged spirally around the cardboard core, KONSTANT polishing discs also provide solid contact pressure without losing their flexibility. The pleated trimming also provides a very effective cooling effect, even with high polishing performance.

EICKELIT polishing discs are made in Germany with Oeko-Tex® certified raw cotton fabric. All of our cotton cretonnes are 100% pure and contain no synthetic fibers. That is why our polishing discs are very durable and wear out evenly and produce very little dust. With our constantly in-stock range of cotton fabrics, they are suitable for all areas of application when polishing.
N2550 is a strong plain weave raw cotton fabric with a specific weight of approx. 230 g/m². Its properties make N2550 particularly suitable for pre-polishing non-ferrous metals and stainless steel.
Due to their Z-shaped folds, KONSTANT polishing tools create a powerful air flow and effective cooling. Moreover, KONSTANT polishing discs achieve a particularly homogeneous polishing pattern on surfaces and shaped workpieces.
Careful preparation of the buffing / polishing tool is a prerequisite for an optimal surface result. Please follow our recommendations for trimming cotton buffing wheels
Used buffing discs should also be dressed again on a regular basis. This is especially true if residues of polishing paste have solidified on the working surface or the buffing wheels are heavily contaminated with material abrasion
