The four-part super finish polishing set enables hard-to-reach plastics or varnished components to be polished to a high gloss. This polishing set reliably delivers in three consecutive steps a flawless high gloss and transparency

Application
- Wear protective equipment and follow safety regulations!
- Roughen the polishing discs before use using a suitable dressing tool
- Wet rotating tool sparingly with polishing paste
Step 1
- The evenly sanded and cleaned surface crosswise with the shank tool EFFEKTA N2550 together with Menzerna GW18 quickly pre-polish on lacquer and thermoset surfaces at approx. 20-25 m/s (3,100 - 4,000 rpm), on thermoplastic workpieces at approx. 10 -15 m/s (1,500 - 2,300 rpm) until an even, satin-matt surface without scratches and grooves is achieved on the workpiece
- After polishing, clean the surface of abrasion and paste residues with a dry, soft and lint-free cloth. If necessary, degrease the workpiece with a tenside solution
Step 2
- The evenly pre-polished and cleaned surface in cross passes with a shank tool EFFEKTA FM230 together with Menzerna GW16 on lacquer and thermoset surfaces at approx. 20-25 m/s (3,100 - 4,000 rpm), on thermoplastic workpieces at approx. 10 -15 m/s (1,500 - 2,300 rpm) quickly polish to a high gloss
- After polishing, clean the surface with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, degrease the workpiece with a tenside solution
Protective Equipment when Polishing
When grinding and polishing, the work equipment used creates considerable health risks. It is therefore compulsory to wear suitable personal protective equipment for work safety when grinding and polishing. In particular, all rotating polishing and brushing tools may only be operated with suitable covers for reasons of occupational safety.
Wear eye / face protection
The fine dust emanating from polishing is harmful to the eyes. Flying parts can cause serious injuries to the face and eyes.
Wear respiratory protection
Fine dust contaminated with heavy metals and respirable, which can only be retained with suitable respiratory protection, is produced during polishing.
Wear protective clothing
Flying parts can cause sensitive injuries all over the body.
Wear gloves
In general, gloves should be worn when grinding and polishing. If there is a risk of being wound up (e.g. drills, processing small parts, etc.), gloves may be prohibited on the basis of a risk assessment.
Wear ear protection
Due to the noise exposure during grinding and polishing, it is necessary to wear suitable hearing protection on a regular basis.
