PRODUCT DESCRIPTION KONSTANT 4-4 / diameter 180 mm
KONSTANT 4-4 polishing tools are ventilating high-performance polishing discs that are particularly suitable for preliminary and main polishing of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. Four layers of a 4-ply composite made of raw cotton fabric twisted diagonally against the weaving direction and arranged in a spiral around a cardboard core create a solid contact pressure. The pleated folds of the KONSTANT 4-4 polishing discs ensure effective cooling of the workpieces, even at high work rates.

COTTON QUALITY
For our professional polishing discs, we only use Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics made from raw cotton from controlled cultivation areas. All of the plain weave cotton cretonnes we use are 100% free of synthetic fibres. For this reason, our polishing discs wear down evenly and are particularly dust-free.
N16 is a light raw cotton fabric with a specific weight of approx. 190 g/m². Depending on the design of the polishing tool, N16 is particularly suitable for polishing surfaces of non-ferrous metals, plastics and varnish. APPLICATIONS Konstant Polishing Discs
KONSTANT polishing discs are used in particular for pre- and main polishing. Due to our extensive range of cotton fabrics, KONSTANT polishing discs are suitable for polishing a wide range of materials.
Due to the pleated fabric created from several panels, KONSTANT polishing discs provide a firm counter-pressure. They are therefore firmer than EFFEKTA polishing discs, but softer than polishing discs made of full-round cotton sheets. With their Z-shaped folds, KONSTANT polishing tools generate a strong air flow and therefore have a cooling effect. KONSTANT polishing discs are particularly characterized by homogeneous polishing patterns on surfaces.
