EICKELIT KONSTANT 4-4 polishing rings are mainly employed for the primary buffing of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. A quartet of multiple layers of unbleached cotton cloth, wound in a helical fashion around a cardboard centre, permits medium to strong contact pressure. Simultaneously, the pleated folds on the KONSTANT 4-4 polishing discs guarantee effective cooling of workpiece surfaces at high production speeds.

Areas of application KONSTANT Polishing Discs
KONSTANT polishing discs are used in particular for pre- and main polishing. Due to our extensive range of cotton fabrics, KONSTANT polishing discs are suitable for the high-gloss finish of sensitive paint surfaces, including non-ferrous metals and stainless steel.
KONSTANT polishing discs provide solid counter-pressure because they are significantly stronger than EFFEKTA polishing discs, but are softer than quilted polishing disks made of fully rounded cotton sheets.
Due to their folding, KONSTANT polishing tools generate a strong air flow and have a cooling effect. KONSTANT polishing wheels are characterized in particular by their homogeneous polishing pattern on surfaces and shaped workpieces.
