PRODUCT DESCRIPTION KONSTANT 4-4 / diameter 150 mm
KONSTANT 4-4 are ventilating high-performance polishing discs, which are particularly suitable for pre- and main polishing of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. Four layers of unbleached cotton fabric twisted diagonally against the weaving direction allow for firm contact pressure. At the same time, the pleated folds of the KONSTANT 4-4 polishing discs ensure very good cooling of the workpieces, especially when working hard.

Vmax = 40 m/s, Umax = 5,100 min-1
For our KONSTANT polishing rings, we only use Oeko-Tex® certified raw cotton from controlled cultivation areas. The plain weave cotton cretonnes we use are always 100% free of synthetic fibers. As a result, our polishing discs wear out evenly and are particularly dust-free.
The extra strong raw cotton fabric N24032 has a specific weight of approx. 290 g/m². Depending on the design of the polishing tool, N24032 is particularly suitable for pre-polishing steel and non-ferrous metals. Please follow the link for more information on our stock cotton fabric types.
APPLICATIONS Konstant Polishing Discs
KONSTANT polishing discs with firm cotton trimmings are particularly suitable for the preliminary and main polishing of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. With our extensive variations of cotton materials, KONSTANT polishing wheels meet the requirements of a wide range of polishing projects.
Thanks to their pleated folds, KONSTANT polishing tools generate a strong air flow and have a correspondingly cooling effect for maximum polishing performance. With KONSTANT polishing discs, you can achieve particularly homogeneous polishing patterns on surfaces and shaped workpieces.
Careful preparation of the buffing / polishing tool is a prerequisite for an optimal surface result. Please follow our recommendations for trimming cotton buffing wheels
Used buffing discs should also be dressed again on a regular basis. This is especially true if residues of polishing paste have solidified on the working surface or the buffing wheels are heavily contaminated with material abrasion
