Shank tools are miniature versions of the proven EICKELIT designs. They complement the polishing process when it comes to precise post-processing and fine-tuning of complicated geometries.
Polishing discs made of cotton fabric plies are suitable for all metal polishing work steps, from pre-polishing to a high-gloss finish. They consist of a large number of individual layers of 100% pure raw cotton fabric, which are sewn with topstitching made of high-quality linen machine thread. The random alignment of the layers and the precise centering of the mandrel ensure low-vibration concentricity for an absolutely uniform polishing finish.
Thanks to our first-class types of cotton, these EICKELIT professional polishing discs are particularly durable, effective and enable safe and dust-free work.

FM209 is a very fluffy raw cotton molleton fabric that is heavily roughened on both sides and has a specific weight of approx. 230 g/m². Super-finish polishing discs made of FM209 generate little counter-pressure and are used in particular for polishing high-quality and sensitive surfaces due to the particularly gentle attack.
For our professional polishing discs, we only use Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics made from raw cotton from controlled cultivation areas. All of the plain weave cotton cretonnes we use are 100% free of synthetic fibres. For this reason, our polishing discs wear down evenly and are particularly dust-free.
Molleton is a type of fabric made from heavy raw cotton nettle. The roughening weakens the fabric structure in a targeted manner, resulting in a very soft and flexible material with a fine microfiber velor. During napping, the remains of abrasive impurities are brushed out of the raw cotton fabric at the same time. Molleton is therefore particularly suitable for finish polishing discs.
