Brass can easily be polished to a deep golden shine. However, copper alloys have a tendency to oxidize over time and take on a dull, brownish hue. This is why the optical preparation of brass and copper surfaces is crucial. However, specially coordinated polishing pastes are required for this.

The three-piece set of polishing pastes for copper, brass and bronze consists of:

MENZERNA 456G PRE-POLISHING PASTE "HEAVY CUT"

The Menzerna pre-polishing paste 456G was specially developed for non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper, bronze, precious metals such as gold, silver and stainless steel. Even deep scratches can be easily removed with this paste, as its special polishing bodies are characterized by a particularly even grain size distribution. Because of this, particularly uniform polishing results can be achieved within a short time with the Menzerna 456G. This exclusive special paste 456G is primarily used in the jewelry industry as well as in the manufacture and restoration of wind instruments.
