Loose full round sheets made of soft molleton FM230 for self-assembled polishing discs

Polishing discs consisting of full-round sheets have been the standard polishing discs for all stages of metal polishing for many years - from pre-polishing to a high-gloss finish. The individual sheets are made of pure raw cotton fabric and can be assembled in the polishing workshop as required. With the help of our configurator, the diameters and drill holes of the cotton sheets can be customised according to standard dimensions. Thanks to our high-quality cotton types, the resulting polishing discs are extremely effective and enable a safe and dust-free working method.

COTTON QUALITY

For our professional polishing discs we only use Oeko-Tex^® certified fabric types made from raw cotton from controlled growing areas. All of the plain weave cotton cretonnes we select are pure and contain no synthetic fibers. This means that our polishing discs wear particularly evenly and enable dust-free work.

MOLTON FM230

FM230 consists of a heavily roughened raw cotton cretonne. With a specific weight of approx. 190 g / m², it is of the highest quality. It is produced by selectively roughening a heavy raw cotton nettle weave, resulting in an extra soft and flexible structure with a dense microfibre velour. This process also removes the last remnants of abrasive, natural impurities such as fruit capsule residues from the raw cotton. FM230 is therefore perfect as a polishing material for the high-gloss finish of non-ferrous metals, paints and plastics.
